Developing Truly Sustainable Manufacturing at FANUC Open House

Solinatra was excited to collaborate once again with FANUC, showcasing innovation in manufacturing and demonstrating the future of sustainable materials at the FANUC Open House on 16-17 October 2024.

Throughout the event, visitors had the chance to witness the live moulding process using Solinatra materials on FANUC's Roboshot. This collaboration highlighted how seamlessly industries could transition from polluting plastics to 100% natural, plant-based alternatives.

Not only did the event showcase the smooth process of Solinatra materials in existing machinery to produce perfectly formed pots with zero plastic, but FANUC also demonstrated their advanced laser printing technology. The freshly moulded Solinatra pots were laser-printed with designated logos, highlighting the versatility and functionality of these biodegradable products.

In addition to the live demonstrations, Solinatra displayed a wide range of applications for both food and non-food contact products and packaging. Solinatra material grades are designed to meet the needs of various industries, from single-use items to products that were traditionally plastic and difficult to recycle. All products made of Solinatra are fully biodegradable and compostable, making them a perfect choice for businesses for a transition to truly sustainable manufacturing.
